Very cute dress that I, mommy, bought new, Deadstock almost vintage in early 2000’s - the label from the designer brand was cut out - I happen to know because it was my dress, it was a size m and I believe a foreign, most likely European brand. NYC Sample sale situation. I wore it occasionally to work at Wilhelmina Models, being a young executive- it sort of worked… and liked it a lot, and honestly I had a gazillion outfits. It’s really darling and I am excited to sell it in Moxies shoppe now 🌈🌈 to its new fashionista 🦢
This dress is 75% acrylic 25% nylon knit with a tight knit and finish. It keeps its shape while still having a good deal of stretch. I have worked in fashion for many years and - would say this dress will easily fit sizes 6- at least a slim 10. shown here on a standard size 6/8 mannequin with plenty of extra room.
I am pairing it with some fun Y2K rainbow angel wing earrings that I bought for my first mysourepair.nyc shoppe around the same time and sold 1 and forgot I had a second pair and just found them unpacking in Charleston today! The other pair was sold way back in 2003/2004 to a wonderful lady in Malta who was having a mascarade party, as I recall 🤩 these are gorgeous! And never worn Y2K originals!! This lovely dress is in excellent gently preowned vintage late 90s - early 2000s condition. It’s has no tips or strains or extensive wear.
